For many of us in the South, we’re already experiencing mild winter temperatures. This brings upon us the season for transitional layers. I’ve talked a lot about layering in previous style blogs, and I cannot emphasize enough how this approach to style has simplified my life and maximized my purchases. I typically stay in a muted color palette (most preferred – black, white and grey of course). Layering allows me the ease of bringing in a pop of color, either with a base layer or through an accessory piece.

Here are two cardigan options, paired with a similar underlayer. The dark chenille cardigan offers an elegant fall look with complementary jewel tones, whereas the jacquard cardigan in hues of winter white and grey lighten the overall look. Which one is your favorite?
