Turmeric and Ginger Tea

I first began suffering from chronic pain in my early twenties following my first disc herniation. For more than a year, I took prescription strength Motrin almost daily until repeat stomach ulcers forced me to look elsewhere. After my first back surgery, I committed to more natural remedies with a strong focus on nutrition and exercise.

This article I recently discovered outlines a few anti-inflammatory herbs that can support pain relief and offer a holistic option to pain management. Presently, I cook with turmeric and ginger at least two nights a week. It is a perfect spice addition to a heart soup or even dusted atop a spinach salad. (I’ve even discovered a combination turmeric and ginger supplement to get a daily dose without all the added cooking time!)

Do you have any remedies you lean on for relief? And have you tried to incorporate turmeric and ginger into your daily diet? If so, share with me your tips and tricks in the comment section below!

Stay well my friends,

Parker
