summer shadow

A little bit of shimmer, and a whole lotta shine! That’s how I wear my summer eye shadow. Without question, I have the most fun utilizing color on my eyes for a little bit of contour and just a smidge of drama.

Consider changing up your daily care routine with new colors for summer. While I typically use a tan base color and cocoa brown for shading, I trade in the standard shades for rose golds and ice blues during summer months. To get the most from my summer shades, I use an eye primer by Laura Mercier. I then add a cream color shade across the lid and a dark color in the corner for contour. During these warmer months, I opt for violet, rose, or navy. To finish it off, I complement the outer shade with a light and shimmery tone in the same family.
