Few things thrill me more than the colorful flowers and blue skies of the North Carolina mountains during spring. Sure, we see some rainfall every now and then. But even that brings a cool breeze and seemingly magical mist to the wondrous treetops of the Carolinas. Yes, my friends. It’s here. Blowing Rock in the Spring.

With so much to see and do in the area, the pleasant temperatures of April and May afford the idyllic setting for shopping on Main Street and dining outside. Enjoy farm to table meals prepared by culinary artists or a simple (and delicious) grilled cheese in the local pub. As always, don’t forget to top it off with ice cream at Kilwin’s!
