Tis the season for sparkling ciders, steeping cinnamon, and colorful arrays of holiday punch! These simple recipes will fill your home with a festive aroma and bring about the holiday season with (sweet and yummy) ease!

Instant Russian Tea

Either combine these ingredients in a beautiful jar as an easy (and heartwarming!) Christmas gift, or stock up the shelves for holiday visitors.

  • 1 cup instant tea powder
  • 2 cups orange flavored drink mix (e.g. Tang)
  • 1 (3 ounce) package of lemonade mix
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves

(use 3 to 4 tablespoons of mix per one cup of hot water and enjoy!)


Citrus Holiday Punch

Light and bubbly with a splash of citrus, this is a wonderful adult beverage option for a holiday brunch or New Year’s Eve get together!

In a small punch bowl, combine the genever, Créole Shrubb, lemon juice, Rich Simple Syrup and 10 dashes of the bitters and refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours. Stir in the Champagne and club soda, add ice and garnish with the pineapple and star anise.

  • Ice, preferably large cubes
  • 4 ounces Rich Simple Syrup
  • Angostura bitters
  • 4 ounces cold Champagne
  • 8 ounces cold club soda
  • 12 ounces genever
  • Pineapple slices and star anise pods, for garnish
  • 4 ounces Créole Shrubb
  • 6 ounces fresh lemon juice



Sparkling Pomegranate Punch

This beverage is simply festive. With shades of red and orange, and drops of pomegranate throughout, sipping on it brings Christmas to mind! (And chef note: substitute sparkling grape juice and club soda for a kid-friendly version that makes them feel so sophisticated!)

In a punch bowl, dissolve the sugar in the pomegranate juice, stirring vigorously. Add the sparkling wine and late-harvest white wine, then add the orange slices, diced pineapple and pomegranate seeds. Serve the sparkling pomegranate punch over ice cubes.

  • 2 oranges, thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 3/4 cup late-harvest white wine, such as late-harvest Riesling, chilled
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Two 750-milliliter bottles sparkling wine, chilled
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup diced fresh pineapple (1/2 inch)
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice

And for those big family gatherings, we’re letting you in on a little secret: Mimi’s Christmas Punch! This recipe will sweeten up 30 people, so store up some batches for all of your holiday guests!

Mulled Cider

Combine all and simmer (do not boil). Place whole cloves into sliced oranges, and place on top of the punch for added aroma and a festive appearance.

  • 2 gallons apple cider
  • 1 gallon orange juice
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 1 small box of cinnamon sticks
