Living along the coast, I’m accustomed to unseasonably warm days, breezy evenings, and quickly changing weather patterns in between. A suitable “coastal closet” requires lightweight clothing, ample layering options, natural fabrications, and a dose of color!

Traditionally, I stock up on neutral skirts, shorts, and denim jeans (for cooler nights) to sustain my summer wardrobe. In support of an easy, no-fuss closet, I veer towards solid color shirts with a few patterned options to add fun and play to my wardrobe. For warmer days, I select a lightweight cotton shirt in a chambray or white – great options for blocking out bright sun and keeping you cool on warmer days. When the sun goes down, the colors come out! Bright pinks, playful patterns, and everything in between. Click on the images below to find my favorite styles.
