Nothing says timeless and ageless style like black and white, don’t you agree? As I continue my quest viewing the marketplace this season, lots of trends point to this classic oldie AND goody. Do you find yourself referencing photos for style ideas of say, Audrey Hepburn? Perhaps Elizabeth Taylor or Ingrid Bergman? Who could forget Dorothy Dandridge and Lena Horne? Ah, the infamous Coco Chanel? So many lovely ladies that continue to inspire us all. I’m eager to hear which ladies make your list of styles worthy of imitation.
I am just so confident in the classic inspirations of black and white ensembles this season. Everywhere I look, it simply speaks to the gracious momentum of yesteryear and today. Many of us here at National feel the same. It is so easy to look back and remember an outfit we saw that was flawless and put together so well; we then found ourselves in motion to bring it back. I know I do this all the time [ha, ha, ha!].
As you shop for your party favorites, I thought I’d share some of our classic statement pieces that are sure to put you center stage! Ladies, did you happen to catch Parker’s blog this week on great ideas for wraps and jackets (http://ifthemuumuufits.com/cozy-in-the-snow/)? Her style recommendations pair perfectly and so practically with the choices below. Have fun mixing and matching this winter wonderland of joyous fun and gathering with the ones you love. Go forth and be merry in the classics ladies!
